1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Which printers take the HP 728 matte black cartridge (3WX25A)?
The HP DesignJet T730 (36 inches) and the DesignJet T830 multifunction printers, in both 24 and 36 inches, including the rugged-case version. The reference to check on the cartridge currently installed is 3WX25A or HP 728.
How much ink does the HP 728 matte black cartridge hold?
130 ml. The 728 range comes in 40 to 300 ml: for the same print volume, a large cartridge means fewer interventions, while a small one ties up less value in stock.
What type of ink does this matte black cartridge contain?
A dye-based ink for the black, whereas the colours in the range use a pigment ink. It is a detail that matters on a plotter: the two ink families do not behave in the same way on technical papers.

The ink cartridge only. The carton measures 202 × 129 × 40 mm and weighs 245 g, with the cartridge weighing 205 g — two separate figures, one with packaging, the other without.
What do you gain by choosing a 300 ml cartridge rather than 130 ml?
Longer unattended printing: HP presents the 300 ml cartridges as letting you print more without intervention. On a plotter that runs overnight or at the end of the day, that is the deciding factor.
Does the matte black replace the plotter's other inks?
No, it only supplies matte black. The other inks in the 728 range are separate references: check the level of each before ordering, as a plotter will not restart a drawing without the missing ink.
Is recycling of the cartridge covered?
Yes. Return and recycling of HP ink cartridges are stated to be free and convenient. That is one less line in a design office's waste management.
How many cartridges are in the pack?
Just one. It comes as a single pack: the 3WX25A cartridge is ordered individually, colour by colour.
