Is the USB cable supplied with the printer?
No. The box contains the printer, its 4 ink bottles, the power cable and the driver CD, but no USB cable. You either need to buy one separately or use the built-in Wi-Fi connection.
Is double-sided printing automatic?
No, double-sided printing is manual. The printer has no unit that turns the sheet over by itself: after the first side, you put it back in the tray yourself to print the second.
How many pages can be printed before refilling the ink?
The set of bottles supplied in the box prints up to 8,100 pages in black and 6,500 pages in colour before the tanks first need refilling.
Which ink bottles should I buy to refill it?
The compatible bottles are Epson 103, sold in 65 ml per colour (black, cyan, magenta, yellow). Each bottle has a keyed nozzle that prevents you from filling the wrong tank.
Does the scanner have a feeder to scan several pages in a row?
No, the scanner is flatbed only, with no automatic document feeder. To scan a multi-page document, each sheet is placed on the glass one after another.
Can I print directly from a smartphone?
Yes, the Epson Smart Panel app controls the printer from a phone or tablet: Wi-Fi setup, starting a print, copy or scan, without going through a computer.
Does this printer have an Ethernet port?
No, the network connection is via Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct only (no router needed, to print directly from a nearby device). A USB port remains available for a wired connection to a single computer.

The input tray holds 100 sheets in total, 20 of which are for photo paper, and the output tray holds up to 30 printed sheets.
