1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this Hiksemi module suitable for a desktop PC?
No: it is a 262-pin SO-DIMM, the short format used in laptops. Its connector differs from that of desktop modules and is not interchangeable with it.
Will this DDR4 module fit in a DDR5 slot?
No. The keying notches differ: a DDR4 module will not fit in a DDR5 slot. Check the generation your laptop accepts before ordering.
What are the dimensions of this SO-DIMM module?
70 × 30 mm for 8 g. This short format is what allows it to fit under a laptop keyboard, whereas a desktop module is more than 13 cm long.
Is this product a kit of two modules?
No: it is a single 8 GB module, not a kit. If your laptop has two slots, the second one remains available.
What chips does this Hiksemi module use?
Original chips selected by the manufacturer. On an entry-level module, the origin of the chips is the factor that determines long-term stability.
