Does this Lexar module fit in a desktop PC?
No: it is a 262-pin SO-DIMM, the short format used in laptops and mini PCs. It does not fit in a tower, whose slots expect a long module.
Does this DDR5 module work in a DDR4 laptop?
No: the DDR5 connector differs from the DDR4 one and the module does not fit into it. Check which generation your laptop accepts before ordering.
How thick is this Lexar SO-DIMM module?
69.6 × 30 × 1.2 mm. This slim profile is what allows it to fit in the stacked slots of a thin laptop or a mini PC.
Does anything need configuring in the BIOS after installation?
No: it is stated to be plug and play, with no configuration required. Compliant with the JESD79-5A standard, it runs at its rated speed on its own.
What is the latency of this Lexar 16 GB module?
CAS 46-45-45-90 at its rated speed of 5,600 MT/s. These are the standard timings of JEDEC-compliant DDR5-5600, with no overclocking profile to enable.
Is this product a kit of two modules?
