This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

What is the largest paper size the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 can really print?
It prints up to A3, including borderless printing up to A3. It is a multifunction printer that prints, copies and scans, designed for offices that need large formats.
Is duplex printing automatic on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730?
Yes, duplex printing is automatic. It also has an automatic document feeder (35 sheets) and two 250-sheet trays, for 500 sheets in total.
Can you scan an A3 document with this printer?
Yes: the flatbed scanner takes originals up to 297 × 432 mm (A3). The automatic document feeder, for its part, scans up to 216 × 356 mm. Optical scan resolution goes up to 1,200 dpi.
Do you have to use genuine HP cartridges in the 9730?
Yes. This printer has HP dynamic security, designed to block cartridges with non-HP chips. So plan on genuine HP cartridges (938 / 938e series).
How many cartridges does it use and how many pages do they last?
It uses 4 individual cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow): you only replace the colour that has run out. With HP 938: about 1,250 pages in black and 800 pages per colour; the HP 938e EvoMore cartridges go up to 2,500 pages in black.
Is a USB cable supplied with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730?
No, the USB cable is not included: it has to be bought separately. That said, the printer also connects over dual-band Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with no USB cable needed.
Can you scan to PDF, to email or to the cloud?
Yes. It scans to a PC, to email and to a memory device, in PDF, searchable PDF (OCR), JPEG, PNG and TIFF formats, and directly to Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive.
Can the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 also fax?
No, this printer has no fax function. It handles printing, copying and scanning (flatbed and via the automatic document feeder).
What paper sizes and types does it accept?
It supports A4, A5, A6, B5 and A3, envelopes (DL, C5, C6) and cards (Hagaki). Recommended paper weight: 60 to 105 g/m², with plain, matte, glossy and HP Advanced photo paper.
