1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

What is an automatic transfer switch for?
To switch automatically from one power source to the other when the first one fails. Your rack equipment does not see the outage: it is the safeguard against the failure of a UPS or a power feed, whereas RAID protects against disk failures.
How many outlets does the APC AP4423A offer?
Nine: eight C13 and one C19. The C19 is reserved for the most power-hungry device, the C13s for ordinary servers and switches — the standard layout of a rack power strip.
What load can the APC AP4423A switch handle?
3,700 VA. That is the ceiling not to exceed when adding up the consumption of all the connected equipment: beyond it, the switch no longer guarantees the transfer.
What power supply does this APC switch need?
An input voltage between 207 and 253 V, at 50 or 60 Hz. That is the European 230 V range: check that both of your power sources fall within it.
How much rack space does the APC AP4423A take up?
1U in a 19-inch rack, weighing 3.74 kg. A single unit of height: little given the service it provides, but it adds to the height of the UPS units it connects.
Is this APC switch certified?
Yes: CE, cUL and UL. These are the European and North American electrical safety certifications — the ones an insurer or an inspection body will ask for on rack power distribution equipment.
Is the APC AP4423A switch new and under warranty?
