Can the graphics card be mounted vertically in the Hyte Y60?
Yes, that is in fact what this case is built for: vertical mounting showcases the card behind the glass. The panel is made up of three pieces, for a view with no corner pillar.
What does the Hyte Y60's dual-chamber design bring?
It separates the power supply and cables from the component area: air flows unobstructed on the visible side, and the clutter stays in the second chamber. That is what gives a tidy interior without any cable-management work.
What graphics card length does the Hyte Y60 accept?
375 mm, with a CPU cooler height of 160 mm and a power supply length of 235 mm. That last dimension is generous: it leaves room for high-wattage units.
How many drives can be installed in the Hyte Y60?
Two 3.5-inch drives, or four 2.5-inch. It is a showcase case, designed for SSDs rather than for stacking mechanical hard drives.
How much does the Hyte Y60 case weigh empty?
9.6 kg. The tempered glass on three sides accounts for this weight: make sure you have a sturdy work surface, and handle the case with two people during installation.
What is on the front panel of the Hyte Y60?
Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports. A deliberately minimal set of connectors, compared with the cases in this category that offer a Type-C port on the front.
Does the Hyte Y60 have dust filters?
Yes, they are built in. On a high-airflow case, this is what keeps the radiators from getting clogged after a few months.
What water cooling can be fitted in the Hyte Y60?
A radiator of up to 360 mm. The fan mounts are spread across the rear, side and top, which leaves several mounting positions.
Is this black Hyte Y60 case new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Hyte product, reference CS-HYTE-Y60-B, in an ATX mid-tower format. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
