1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What transfer speed does the ADATA SE880 portable SSD reach?
Up to 2,000 MB/s for both reading and writing thanks to USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 (20 Gbps), about 20× a conventional external hard drive.
Which cables are supplied with the SE880?
Two cables: USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A. No micro-USB cable is included (to be obtained separately if needed).
Is the SE880 compatible with games consoles?
Yes: PS5, PS4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Formatting may be required before connecting it to the console for the first time.
Can I connect it to an iPhone 15 or an Android smartphone?
Yes, its USB-C connector is compatible with iPhone 15 and Android 8.0+, as well as Windows, macOS and Linux.
Do you need to format the drive before using it?
It ships formatted in NTFS. ADATA recommends the exFAT file system for the SE880, and reformatting is required on macOS.
What are the size and weight of the SE880?
Very compact: 64.8 × 35 × 12.25 mm and just 31 g, smaller than an AirPods case.
Do you need particular hardware to reach 2,000 MB/s?
Yes: the host device must support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and UASP drivers. On an older port, the speed will be lower.
Can it be used on an old USB 2.0 port?
Yes (backward compatible with USB 2.0), but a Y-cable may be needed: USB 2.0 only supplies 500 mA, whereas the drive draws more than 600 mA at start-up.
What storage capacities are available?
The SE880 comes in 1 TB, 2 TB or 4 TB, in titanium grey.
Why is the displayed capacity lower than the advertised capacity?
It is normal: formatting and the system's binary calculation take up part of the space. Expect about 7% less than the nominal capacity.
Is the SSD new and under warranty?
Yes, a new product; your invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. See the ADATA datasheet.
