This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Can you add RAM and a second SSD to the Asus TUF F16?
Yes, both. The memory sits in two SO-DIMM slots with 2 × 8 GB of DDR5-5600, and each slot takes up to 32 GB. On the storage side, the 1 TB SSD leaves a second M.2 slot free, with each slot supporting up to 2 TB at PCIe 4.0. Everything is accessible without special tools.
What does the HX in the Asus TUF F16's Core i7-14650HX processor mean?
At Intel, the HX suffix denotes the most powerful mobile range, derived from desktop chips. Here that means 16 cores and 24 threads from 2.2 GHz up to 5.2 GHz, with 30 MB of cache. It is a processor that does not hold back the graphics card, but it draws considerably more power than a U-series chip.
Does the Asus TUF F16's 165 Hz screen really make a difference in games?
Yes: a 16-inch IPS panel at 1920 × 1200 in 16:10 format and 165 Hz displays more frames per second than a 60 Hz screen, which is visible in fast motion. It reaches 300 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and covers 100% of the sRGB colour space.
Can the Asus TUF F16 handle travel and knocks?
To carry the name, the TUF Gaming range must pass a series of MIL-STD-810H tests — drops, vibration, humidity and extreme temperatures. This is what sets the series apart from conventional gaming laptops, which are more fragile in everyday use.
Do you always need to plug in the Asus TUF F16's 280 W charger?
For gaming, yes: the supplied power brick delivers 280 W at 20 V and 14 A, the only way to power the HX processor and the RTX 5050 together. On the move, the 90 Wh battery can also be charged via USB-C, so you do not have to carry the large brick for a simple day of office work.
What ports does the Asus TUF F16 offer for gaming peripherals?
An RJ45 Gigabit port for a wired connection, a 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 port supporting DisplayPort and G-SYNC, a 10 Gbps USB-C port with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, and three 10 Gbps USB-A ports. Enough to connect a keyboard, mouse, headset and external monitor without a hub.
How does the Asus TUF F16's RTX 5050 cope with recent games?
It is a dedicated RTX 5050 with 8 GB of GDDR7, at 115 W TGP, giving access to DLSS 4 and its Multi Frame Generation, ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex 2. At 1920 × 1200, the screen's native resolution, it is aimed at smooth gaming on high settings rather than everything on ultra.
Does the Asus TUF F16 have per-key keyboard backlighting?
It is backlit in single-zone RGB, not key by key: the colour changes for the whole keyboard at once. It is a chiclet keyboard in French AZERTY, with a dedicated Copilot key for the Windows 11 assistant.
Is the Asus TUF F16 easy to carry around?
