This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What is in the package of this OEM RTX A4500?
The card and its auxiliary power cable. DisplayPort to HDMI adapters, which let you connect an HDMI monitor at up to 4K, are offered separately by PNY, singly or in packs of three. Plan for them if your monitors have no DisplayPort input.
What power supply does the RTX A4500 need?
One 8-pin PCIe connector, for 200 W maximum. The required auxiliary cable comes with the card; you still need to check that the workstation's power supply has this output free and the corresponding power headroom. The card also occupies a PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot.
Can two RTX A4500 cards be paired with NVLink?
Yes, with a 2-way NVLink bridge: the two cards appear as one to the application, i.e. 14,336 CUDA cores and 40 GB of ECC GDDR6, linked at 112.5 GB/s bidirectional. Two kits exist depending on the spacing of the motherboard slots, for 2 or 3 slots. The application must support this mode.
How much RAM should the workstation have?
At least as much as the card's memory, i.e. 20 GB — and double that, 40 GB, is recommended. This is the requirement most often overlooked: below it, the system spends its time swapping to disk and the card is never kept supplied with work. A Core i5, i7, i9, Xeon, Ryzen or Epyc processor is also expected.
Does the RTX A4500 work on Linux?
Yes, with drivers for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15.x, openSUSE 15, Fedora 31 and Ubuntu 18.04, as well as for FreeBSD 11.x and Solaris 11. On the Microsoft side, 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 are supported. An internet connection is required to install the driver.
What is the RTX A4500's ECC memory for?
Its 20 GB of GDDR6 is protected by error correction, on a 320-bit bus delivering 640 GB/s. ECC corrects on the fly the memory errors that, over a long simulation or render, would change a result without the slightest sign. With 7,168 CUDA cores, 224 Tensor Cores and 56 RT Cores, the card is aimed at rendering and accelerated computing.
What video outputs, and for how many monitors?
Four DisplayPort 1.4a, up to 7680 × 4320 at 36 bits per pixel at 60 Hz. The card has one video encoding engine and two video decoding engines, including AV1 decoding. For multi-monitor installations with perfectly aligned displays, it is compatible with Quadro Sync II frame synchronisation.
How much space does the RTX A4500 take up in the case?
Two slots, 26.7 cm long and 11.2 cm high, with active fan cooling. Measure the depth available in front of the drive cage before ordering: it is a full-height card, designed for a tower workstation.
Is the card new and under warranty?
Yes, new and covered for 1 year, with your invoice serving as the warranty document. The exact reference of this model is VCNRTXA4500-SB, in OEM packaging: the hardware is identical to that of the boxed version, only the packaging differs.
