This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do the two fans on this GTX 1660 spin in the same direction?
No, and that is deliberate: Gigabyte makes them spin in opposite directions. Two neighbouring fans spinning in the same direction create opposing airflows, and therefore turbulence that hampers heat dissipation. By reversing one of the two, the airflow becomes continuous and the air pressure increases.
Is the GTX 1660 OC 6G quiet for office use?
Yes: the 3D Active Fan feature provides semi-passive cooling and keeps both 90 mm fans stopped as long as the card stays under light load or runs an undemanding game. The silence is then total, fans included.
What performance can you expect from this GTX 1660 6 GB?
Smooth gaming in Full HD. It is based on the NVIDIA Turing architecture, with 6 GB of GDDR5 on a 192-bit interface and a boost clock of 1,830 MHz, and supports DirectX 12. It is a balanced card, designed for reliability rather than maximum settings.
How many displays can you connect to this Gigabyte card?
Up to four, on three DisplayPort and one HDMI output, with support for 8K resolution. Enough to set up a multi-display workstation for work as well as gaming, without an additional splitter box.
How is heat removed from the GPU?
Through a pure copper heat pipe in direct contact with the chip, shaped to maximise the contact area; a large metal plate extends this contact to the video memory. The composite heat pipe combines conduction and phase change to increase cooling capacity.
What ensures the longevity of this card?
Three component choices: low on-resistance MOSFET transistors, which run cooler; metal chokes that limit energy losses and interference; and solid capacitors with low series resistance. A protective backplate also reinforces the card's structure.
Can you adjust the clock speeds of this GTX 1660 yourself?
Yes, with Gigabyte's AORUS Engine software: clock speed, voltage, fan behaviour and power limit can be adjusted in real time, according to the needs of the game being played. The interface remains accessible without restarting the machine.
Is the card new and under warranty?
