This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can you reach 144 Hz by connecting the monitor over VGA?
No: the D-Sub (VGA) port tops out at 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz, whereas 144 Hz is only available over HDMI 2.0, with a vertical range of 48 to 144 Hz. Connect your main PC via HDMI; VGA suits a second machine, at 60 Hz.
What is in the box, and do you need to buy an extra cable?
The box contains an HDMI cable (1.4), a power cord and a quick guide: you can connect the monitor as soon as you open it, via the very input that is the only one to reach 144 Hz. Get your own VGA cable if you plan to use the second input.
Is the stand height-adjustable?
No: the stand only offers tilt, from -5° to +20°, with no height adjustment, swivel or rotation to portrait mode. To gain these adjustments, mount the monitor — 3.94 kg net — on an arm or a wall mount using the VESA 100 × 100 mm standard.
Is the panel matte or glossy?
Matte: the surface treatment is anti-glare, which cuts reflections from a window or a ceiling light. The IPS panel holds a 178° viewing angle horizontally and vertically, with 300 cd/m² brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio — enough to stay readable with two people in front of the screen.
Can a mini PC be mounted behind the monitor?
Yes. The VESA 100 × 100 mm mount lets you fit a mini PC, such as one from the MSI Cubi series, directly on the back of the monitor. An accessory slot is also provided to store cables, adapters and small peripherals.
Does this MSI PRO MP275 E14L have speakers and a headphone jack?
Yes: two 2 W speakers are built in, handy for video calls and multimedia. The monitor adds a line input and a headphone output, so you can plug headphones into the monitor rather than reaching for the jack at the back of the tower. There is, however, no built-in webcam.
Can you connect a keyboard and mouse to it to switch between two PCs?
No: the monitor has no USB port and supports neither KVM nor PIP/PBP. It does accept two video sources (HDMI and VGA), but each machine keeps its own keyboard and mouse. A Kensington lock slot is provided to secure the monitor.
Do you need to find room for an external power brick under the desk?
No: the power supply is internal (100~240 V, 50/60 Hz), a simple power cord is all it takes and no transformer is left lying on the floor. The monitor is Energy Star certified as well as CB/CE, and MSI Power Link technology even lets you power a compatible desktop PC from the monitor.
Can it be used with a PS5 or an Xbox?
Yes: the inputs accept PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Xbox, mobile devices and laptops. Over HDMI, the console gets Full HD at up to 144 Hz and AMD FreeSync, active from 48 to 144 Hz, which eliminates screen tearing when the frame rate varies. HDMI CEC is also supported.
Can the monitor be updated?
Yes, and without taking anything apart: the firmware is updated via the HDMI connector, with each new version released by MSI applied from your PC. The MSI Display Kit application rounds things off on the software side, with display settings, colour modes and window layout.
Is it easy on the eyes over long days?
It relies on three concrete features: Anti-Flicker technology, which stabilises the current and eliminates flicker, the Less Blue Light filter, and the EyesErgo function, which reminds you to take a break after a long session. The panel's anti-glare coating completes the package.
Is its colour accuracy good enough for photo editing?
It covers 110% of sRGB, 85% of DCI-P3 and 80% of Adobe RGB (CIE 1976 measurements), with 16.7 million colours, and it is HDR Ready. One thing to know before buying: this 8-bit colour is achieved with 6-bit + FRC, i.e. through dithering rather than native 8-bit.
Is the MSI PRO MP275 E14L monitor new and under warranty?
Yes: the monitor is new and sealed in its original packaging, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Full specifications are given in the MSI datasheet (PDF).
