Does the MSI PRO MP243W E14 have built-in speakers?
Yes, two 2 W speakers, so there is no need to add speakers for a video call or a video. A headphone output is also provided on the monitor, so you can switch to a headset without going through the computer.
Which video inputs does the MP243W E14 offer, and at what refresh rate?
One HDMI 1.4b, rated for Full HD at 144 Hz, and one DisplayPort 1.2a. The adaptive sync range covers 48 to 144 Hz. The HDMI cable is supplied with the monitor, so you can get started with nothing extra to buy.
My laptop only has a USB-C output: can I use the MP243W E14?
The monitor receives the picture through its HDMI 1.4b or its DisplayPort 1.2a. From a laptop whose only video output is USB-C, you therefore need an adapter to one of these two formats, after first checking that this USB-C port supports video on your machine.
Does the MP243W E14 have USB ports or a webcam?
No to both: no USB hub and no built-in webcam. Connectivity is limited to HDMI, DisplayPort, the headphone output and the Kensington lock slot. An external webcam will therefore plug into the computer, not the monitor.

They are two different measurements: 1 ms MPRT, which assesses the perceived blur on a moving image, and 4 ms grey-to-grey, which measures how long a pixel takes to switch. The second is the more demanding of the two; both values are accurate, they simply do not describe the same thing.
Is the MSI MP243W E14 stand height-adjustable?
No: only the tilt is adjustable, from -5° to +20°, with no height, swivel or pivot adjustment. VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting is still possible for a monitor arm or a wall mount, as the monitor weighs only 3.1 kg.
What does MSI's EyesErgo feature bring?
It is a set of eye-care features: flicker-free display, blue light reduction, a quick eye test and a break reminder when the monitor is used for a long time. The system is TÜV certified, and the panel is frameless on all four sides.
