This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

How good is the RTX 5090 in this MSI Vector 18 HX AI?
It is the top of the mobile range: 24 GB of GDDR7, a boost clock of up to 2,160 MHz and a power envelope of 175 W. Those 24 GB of video memory matter as much as raw power as soon as you work on heavy 3D scenes or large AI models.
How does this MSI Vector 18 HX AI cool its components?
Through Cooler Boost 5 technology: two fans, six heat pipes and — less common — dedicated cooling for the PCIe Gen5 SSD. That last point matters: a Gen5 SSD runs hot enough to throttle itself if it is not properly cooled.
What is the Thunderbolt 5 on this MSI Vector 18 HX AI for?
It raises bandwidth to 120 Gb/s, three times the previous standard, and can drive two 8K displays. Both ports also support DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.1: a single cable can carry video, data and part of the power.
Can you upgrade the memory of this MSI Vector 18 HX AI?
Up to 96 GB, but by replacement: the 32 GB of DDR5-6400 fill both available slots, as two 16 GB modules. Moving to 64 or 96 GB therefore means swapping both modules rather than adding one.

400 W — a bulky power brick, in keeping with an HX processor and an RTX 5090 pushed at the same time. The 4-cell 99.9 Wh battery is at the maximum allowed for air travel in the cabin, but it is no substitute for mains power during a gaming session.
