1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

When are high performance fans needed on a DL380 Gen10?
In 24 SFF or 12 LFF chassis fitted with a graphics card on a riser, and in configurations certified for ASHRAE environments, which are more demanding on temperature. A standard configuration does not need them.
Can some standard fans be kept alongside these?
No. HPE forbids mixing standard and high performance fans in the same server: remove all standard fans, then install high performance fans in every fan bay, including those fitted with blanks.
How many fan bays does the DL380 Gen10 have?
Six. In a standard single-processor setup, bays 1 and 2 take blanks; with two processors, or in 24 SFF and 12 LFF with high performance fans, all six bays are filled. One fan failure causes a loss of redundancy, a second one triggers an orderly shutdown.
Does the server have to be removed from the rack to install them?
Pulling it out on its rails is enough: open the access panel, remove the fan blanks and the air baffle, replace the fans, then refit the baffle and panel before pushing the server back. The DIMM latches must be closed.
What does the server do if the temperature gets too high?
It protects itself. The fans first speed up according to temperature; if a caution threshold is reached, iLO triggers an orderly system shutdown, and if a critical level is detected first, the hardware shuts the server down immediately to avoid damage.
