1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this cable work with an LTO-9 drive?
No. HPE reserves this cable for LTO-8, LTO-7, LTO-6 and LTO-5 drives. For an LTO-9 mounted in the 1U rack kit, the specified part is the 4 m 12 Gb Mini SAS HD cable P35174-B21.
What is the difference from the 876804-B21 cable?
The server-side connector. The 876805-B21 ends in Mini SAS HD (SFF-8644), the 876804-B21 in the older Mini SAS (SFF-8088). Both are 4 m long and serve the same 1U rack kit: choose according to the external SAS port of the controller installed in the server.
How many drives can the 1U rack kit hold?
Up to two: two LTO drives, two RDX docks or one of each, each on its own cable. Each drive can thus be connected to a different server or to a separate port on the same controller.
Is a particular controller needed in the server?
Yes, a controller or host bus adapter with an external SAS port in Mini SAS HD format. Depending on the HPE ProLiant server, it may be a card to add: HPE recommends for example the Smart Array E208e-p for a ProLiant Gen10.
Is the 1U rack kit supplied with this cable?
No, this cable is sold on its own. The HPE StoreEver generic 1U rack kit (BC029A) is a separate product that holds the internal drives; HPE states that a specific 1U rack cable is required for each SAS drive.
