that protects a 14-inch laptop.

The 7821 looks like a large tote in matte faux leather, but it hides a padded compartment for a laptop or tablet from 13.3 to 14 inches. Its long handles are carried by hand or over the shoulder, and a strap attaches it to a suitcase when travelling.

The laptop in the middle, everything else around it

The laptop compartment measures 34 x 26 x 3 cm, with thickened sides that cushion the impact when the bag is set down. Around it, the main volume keeps two sleeves where a water bottle and an umbrella stand upright, plus a zipped pocket for keys or earphones. On the front, a hidden pocket keeps phone and passport within reach; the whole bag closes with a zip at the top.

From the office to the train, same bag

At the office or in class, it is carried on the shoulder like an everyday bag. When travelling, the strap on the back slides over the handle of a rolling suitcase and the tote rides on top, leaving your hands free for a ticket or a passport. The water-repellent fabric lets a passing shower run off; 61% of the bag's weight is recycled polyester, equivalent in mass to eleven 50 cl bottles.
