1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

What size of laptop really fits in the 8221 bag?
The padded compartment measures 330 x 240 x 40 mm: it is these millimetres that decide, not the number of inches. It is designed for 13.3" ultrabooks, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, and also suits the MacBook Pro 14. Measure your machine closed before ordering.
What colour do you get when ordering this exact reference?
Black: the reference sold here is the 8221 Black, described as a black bag for 13.3" laptops, in polyester.
How is the laptop protected inside the bag?
By a dedicated compartment with padded walls, which keeps the machine apart from your other belongings and cushions contact. The bag and its lining are made of polyester, outside and in.
Can you carry a tablet, documents and accessories in it?
Yes, and in separate spaces. An outer pocket holds a tablet or a second device, while the front pocket is organised to store documents, accessories and a phone. The laptop stays on its own in its padded compartment.
Is it carried on the shoulder or only by hand?
Both. It combines padded handles for carrying by hand with a shoulder strap fitted with a non-slip shoulder pad, which stops the strap sliding off your shoulder when the bag is loaded.
Is it bulky once slipped into a travel bag or a locker?
It measures 350 x 265 x 65 mm overall for a laptop compartment of 330 x 240 x 40 mm: it adds only about one centimetre on each side of the machine. Empty, it stays under 600 g.
Is the Rivacase 8221 bag new and under warranty?
Yes: a new bag, delivered with its invoice, which serves as the document for the 1-year warranty. This is the 8221 model from Rivacase's Central collection, with a polyester exterior and polyester lining.
