The A/302 is the boom stand of the Quik Lok 300 Microlite series. Its In-Sync tripod has no knob or screw: tilt the leg marked in orange to free the base, then open it fully to lock it.

One knob to set the boom
The 77 cm boom does not extend, but its angle and reach are set together with a single non-slip knob, on an ABS swivel that absorbs knocks. Height is set from 97 to 163 cm with a soft-grip clutch. Folded, the stand measures 92 cm, and its matt black finish does not reflect stage lights.
This is the EU version of the A/302, with a European thread: check the thread of your microphone clip before screwing it on.

How does the Quik Lok A/302 tripod lock?
With one of its legs, marked with an orange « release » label: tilt it slightly to free the base, which then slides along the tube, then open it fully to lock it. The base has no knob or screw to tighten, so there is no part to lose when setting up.
How high does the A/302 stand go?
It adjusts from 97 to 163 cm, with a soft-grip clutch that you loosen and tighten by hand. The 77 cm adjustable boom then moves the microphone away from the tube to bring it closer to the source without the tripod getting in the way.
Is the A/302 boom telescopic?
No: it measures 77 cm and its length does not change. Its angle and reach in the swivel, on the other hand, are both set at once with a single ergonomic knob with a non-slip coating; the swivel is made of ABS, a composite that resists impacts and wear.
