3 months warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

The Lexmark CS317dn, CS417dn, CS517de and the CX317dn, CX417de, CX517de multifunction printers. The reference to look for on the cartridge currently installed is 71B50K0.
How many pages does the Lexmark 71B50K0 toner print?
Up to 3,000 standard pages, a yield declared in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798 in single-sided printing. The figure refers to standard test pages: double-sided printing or documents with heavy coverage bring it down.
Is the 71B50K0 a standard-yield or a high-yield cartridge?
It is a standard-yield cartridge: cheaper to buy, it prints fewer pages than a high-yield version. Lexmark explicitly intends it for low-volume printing — for a heavily used workstation, the high-yield version works out cheaper per page.
What is the Lexmark Return Program as applied to this cartridge?
The cartridge is patented and sold at a discount, on condition that it is used only once and returned to Lexmark for remanufacturing or recycling. Replacement cartridges not subject to these restrictions are also available.
Does the cartridge stop before it is completely empty?
Yes, and Lexmark says so in writing: the cartridge stops working once a certain quantity of toner has been used, and may still contain a variable amount of it when a replacement is requested. This is the intended behaviour of the Return Program.
Will a Lexmark cartridge bought abroad work in Morocco?
Check this before buying outside the local distribution channel: Lexmark cartridges are designed for a specific geographic region. An identical reference bought on another continent may therefore not be recognised by your machine.
What does Lexmark Unison toner bring?
It is the powder formulation specific to Lexmark systems: it aims for consistent image quality from one page to the next, long-term reliability of the printing system and vibration-free operation.
Does the 71B50K0 print in colour?
No, only in black, for about 3,000 pages. The CS and CX models in this range are colour machines: cyan, magenta and yellow are ordered separately, and it is best to check all four levels at once.
Can Lexmark toner be stored for several months?
Yes. It is a dry powder: nothing evaporates, and no nozzle clogs while it waits. A spare cartridge kept in its box remains usable as it is the day the machine calls for it.
Is this Lexmark 71B50K0 cartridge new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new, genuine Lexmark supply. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 3 months. Keep it: it is the document requested if a defect is found on the cartridge.
