1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers can the HP 912XL magenta cartridge be installed in?
It is listed for the HP OfficeJet 8010 and HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 all-in-one ranges. Check the exact series marked on your machine, then the reference 3YL82AE on the magenta cartridge you are replacing.
Is the XL version really worth it compared with the standard 912 magenta cartridge?
Yes. The standard 912 magenta is rated at 315 pages; the 912XL prints 2 times as many pages and is therefore replaced that much less often. On a workstation that prints in colour all week, that means proportionally fewer interruptions.
Does the XL cartridge take up more space than the standard 912 in the carriage?
No: strictly identical size, 106 × 23 × 113.5 mm, exactly like the standard 912 magenta. Only the black 912XL changes size, at 106 × 44 × 115 mm. Switching to high capacity for the colours requires no adjustment.
Will I really print the stated number of pages?
The yield is measured according to the ISO/IEC 24711 standard, on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8010 in continuous printing. In real use, it varies considerably depending on page content: take this figure as an order of magnitude. The standard cartridge is measured the same way, so the comparison remains valid.
Do all four colours have to be replaced at the same time?
No. The 912 range works with individual inks: you change only the colour that has run out — here the magenta — and the other three cartridges stay in place until the end of their own life. You only buy again what you have used up.
Is it sold individually or in a multi-colour pack?
Individually: this reference contains only the high-capacity magenta cartridge, i.e. 10.4 ml of pigment ink. The four-colour pack has a different reference, 6ZC74AE, in the standard version, not XL.
What should I do with the cartridge once it is empty?
HP provides free recycling of its supplies, with availability depending on the local programme. These cartridges are made with recycled plastic: 80% of genuine HP ink cartridges contain between 45 and 70% recycled material.
Is the cartridge genuine HP and under warranty?
Yes: a new, genuine HP cartridge, reference 3YL82AE (EAN 192545866903), with a 1-year warranty with the invoice. HP covers its cartridges against defects in materials and workmanship; details are given in the datasheet (PDF).
