This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the cartridge supplied with the printer print as many pages as a new cartridge?
No. The LBP6030B is supplied with a 700-page starter cartridge, whereas the standard 725 cartridge, sold separately, covers 1,600 pages (ISO/IEC 19752 standard). So expect to buy your first replacement much sooner than the stated yield would suggest.
Does it print double-sided automatically?
No, duplex printing is manual: you print one side, then put the stack back in the tray yourself for the second. The 150-sheet multipurpose tray and the 100-sheet face-down output make this easy, but it is still up to you.
Can it be connected over Wi-Fi or shared on the office network?
No: it connects via Hi-Speed USB 2.0 only and has no Wi-Fi, Ethernet or fax. It is designed to be attached to a single workstation, in a home office or small business, not to serve as a shared printer in the middle of an open-plan office.
Does it work with a recent Mac?
On the Mac side, compatibility runs from Mac OS 10.6 to 10.9: check this before buying if you work on a recent version of macOS. On the PC side, it is supported from Windows 8.1 to Windows 11, on Windows Server 2008 to 2022, as well as on Linux and Citrix.
Can it print on envelopes and labels?
Yes: it accepts COM10, Monarch, C5 and DL envelopes, as well as labels, transparencies and heavy paper. The multipurpose tray takes paper weights from 60 to 163 g/m² and custom sizes from 76.2 to 216 mm wide by 188 to 356 mm long, in addition to A4, A5, B5, Legal and Letter.
Can it print edge to edge, with no white margin?
No. It keeps a print margin of 5 mm at the top, bottom, left and right, and prints only up to A4 size. For a full-bleed document or a full-page label, you need to allow for this non-printable area at the layout stage.
How much power does it really use, and is it noisy?
When printing, it draws about 450 W (960 W at peak) but drops to 1.4 W in sleep mode, for a typical electricity consumption of 0.6 kWh. As for noise, it is measured at 49.2 dB(A) during operation and declared inaudible in sleep mode, according to the ISO 9296 standard.
How long do you wait for the first page after sleep mode?
About 1 second to wake from sleep, and 7.8 seconds maximum for the first page to come out. From a full start-up, warm-up takes at most 10 seconds: so there is no need to leave it switched on all the time, which goes hand in hand with its 1.4 W in sleep mode.
What monthly volume can it handle without being overworked?
Its duty cycle is 5,000 pages per month maximum, at 18 ppm in A4. With a 150-sheet tray and a 100-sheet face-down output, it is aimed at home offices and small businesses rather than a department shared by a large team.
Is the advertised 2,400 × 600 dpi the true resolution?
The print resolution is 600 × 600 dpi; the 2,400 × 600 dpi is achieved with the Automatic Image Refinement function. Printing uses a laser beam system, in black and white only, with the UFRII LT print language.
Is there a control display on the printer?
No: the panel is limited to 2 LEDs and 2 operating keys, with no display. The printer has 32 MB of memory and operates between 10 and 30 °C, at 20 to 80% relative humidity.
Is the printer new and under warranty?
Yes: new in its original packaging, reference 8468B006AA (EAN 4960999996615), supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. It weighs about 5 kg and measures 364 × 249 × 199 mm, a size that fits on the corner of a desk.
