What is light magenta for in the Epson 108 range?
To soften transitions between shades in photos. It is one of the six inks in the set, and light shades are precisely the ones that smooth gradations: without them, the shifts from one colour to another become more visible on a print.
Which printers do you pour the Epson 108 light magenta bottle into?
The EcoTank L8050 and L18050, Wi-Fi photo ink tank printers — the L8050 in A4, the L18050 in A3+. The reference C13T09C64A is the marker to check against your machine's manual before ordering.
Are light magenta and magenta the same ink?
No, two separate references. Light magenta has the code C13T09C64A, magenta the code C13T09C34A, and each feeds its own tank. On these photo EcoTank printers, the six colours are filled separately.
Do the stated 2,100 photos correspond to this bottle alone?
No, to the full set. The figure of 2,100 photos at 10 × 15 cm refers to the full set of six inks supplied as standard with the EcoTank printer. This bottle provides 70 ml of light magenta, a shade whose use depends on the images printed.
Is Epson 108 ink pigment-based or dye-based?
Dye-based. The 108 range is a six-colour dye-based set: the ink penetrates the paper fibres instead of staying on the surface like a pigment. That is what gives the deep, natural blacks and accurate skin tones aimed for in photography.
Is this light magenta bottle new, genuine and under warranty?
New, in original Epson packaging, reference C13T09C64A. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested in the event of a claim.
