Is light cyan really necessary, or can I do without it?
It is part of the set. The 673 range consists of six colours — black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta — and it is their combined work that produces the sharp detail, deep blacks and vibrant colours expected of a photo print. It is not a supplementary colour.
Is Epson 673 ink pigment-based or dye-based?
Dye-based. Dye penetrates the paper fibre instead of staying on the surface like a pigment: this is what gives the rich, vibrant colours and deep blacks this six-colour set is designed for. A formulation geared towards photo printing rather than archival documents.
Which printers can this T6735 bottle be poured into?
Into the EcoTank L800, L805, L810, L850 and L1800. These machines have no cartridge: the ink is poured directly into the built-in tank of the corresponding colour. Check the model name on your printer before ordering.
How many photos can be printed with 673 inks?
Up to 1,900 photos at 10 × 15 cm — and this figure refers to the complete set of six inks supplied as standard with the EcoTank printer, not to a single bottle on its own. Each bottle provides 70 ml, and the amount used of each colour depends on the images printed.
