1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Up to what total cable length does this coupler remain reliable?
10 metres in total: this is the maximum recommended combined length for the two cables joined by this coupler. It carries 18 Gbps and 4K at 60 Hz without compromising the quality of the video and audio signal. This is the figure to check before buying the second cable.
Can I plug it directly into my TV's HDMI socket?
No: its two inputs are female. It sits between two HDMI cables, joining them into a single continuous cable. This part extends an existing connection; it does not replace a cable.
Does going through this coupler mean losing 4K?
No. It carries 18 Gbps and stays on the HDMI 2.0 standard: 4K at 60 Hz passes, as do 1080p, 720p and 480p. The sound stays perfectly synchronised with the picture.
Do ARC audio return and Dolby Vision streams pass through it?
Yes: the coupler is compatible with ARC, 3D and Dolby Vision, in addition to 4K, 1080p, 720p and 480p resolutions. You keep the TV's audio return, your source's Dolby Vision streams and 3D video formats.
What are the gold-plated connectors for?
Gold plating makes the contacts corrosion-resistant and improves the durability of the connection. This matters on a part intended to stay permanently connected between two cables, often behind a piece of furniture.
How much space does it take up once plugged in behind a piece of furniture?
