1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this adapter also work the other way, from HDMI to a VGA monitor?
No: the conversion is unidirectional, from the computer's VGA output to an HDMI device. The male end plugs into the PC's VGA socket; the female end receives the HDMI cable that runs to the TV, monitor or projector. For the reverse, you need a converter designed for the other direction.
Does the sound go through the VGA cable, or do I need to connect something else?
The sound is connected separately, to the 3.5 mm mini-jack socket included on the adapter: it handles audio transmission along with the picture to the HDMI display. So plan for a small audio cable in addition to the HDMI cable, otherwise the TV or projector will show the picture without the sound.
What is the adapter's USB-C port for?
It is a power port: it supplies additional power to the adapter and broadens its compatibility with different devices. Make sure a free USB port or a charger is nearby, in addition to the HDMI cable running to the display.
Can I get 4K on my TV with this adapter?
No. The conversion tops out at Full HD 1080p: this is the maximum output resolution, even on a TV or projector capable of more. More than enough for a presentation, a lesson or a display on a TV.
Will the casing hold up in a bag, to take it to meetings?
Yes. The body is made of durable ABS plastic and the format is compact and easy to carry. It is an accessory designed to live permanently in the laptop sleeve and come to the rescue in any room equipped with HDMI.
Is the adapter new and under warranty?
Yes: a new Ugreen product in original packaging, reference 50945 and EAN code 6957303859450 to check that it really is this version of the adapter. It is covered by a 1-year warranty, the purchase invoice serving as the warranty document — remember to keep it.
