1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Which printer does the IntelliSEAQ PHD20-2278-01 printhead fit?
The Honeywell I-Class Mark II I-4212e — also known as the Datamax I-4212e Mark II. It is a genuine Honeywell part, not to be confused with copies whose service life is not guaranteed.
Why do barcodes stay consistent with the IntelliSEAQ printhead?
Thanks to dot-by-dot thermal control: each dot receives exactly the energy it needs. That is what ensures consistent density from the first pass to the last — a barcode that is too faint or too heavy will not scan.
Does the IntelliSEAQ printhead withstand wear from the media?
Yes, it has a hardened, abrasion-resistant coating. That is the critical point of a thermal printhead: the media constantly rubs against the heating line as it passes, and it is this abrasion that eventually kills the part.
Can you anticipate wear on the IntelliSEAQ printhead?
Yes, it includes diagnostics that anticipate wear and make maintenance easier. On a labelling line, knowing that a printhead is nearing the end of its life lets you schedule its replacement instead of having it forced on you mid-production.
What is the resolution of the IntelliSEAQ printhead?
203 dpi, for thermal printing. That is the standard resolution for logistics labelling: it is enough for barcodes and shipping text, and it is also the resolution of the printer it goes into — the two must match.
