Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Paper trays : extra trays, stands, cabinets and the automatic document feeder visible in the image are very often options sold separately.
  • Consumables : the cartridges and toners photographed are not included unless stated; those supplied with the machine are frequently reduced-capacity starter consumables.
  • Features : automatic duplex, touchscreen, Wi-Fi, fax or flatbed scanner cannot be inferred from a photo — only the specifications are binding.
  • Cables : the USB cable is generally not supplied; only the power cord is.
  • Format and version : one image serves a whole series (A4 or A3, monochrome or colour, with or without Wi-Fi).
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Honeywell MPD31D printer need a ribbon?
No, it prints using direct thermal technology: heat develops the heat-sensitive paper, with no ribbon or cartridge. Just one consumable to manage in the field — the roll — and nothing to change mid-round.
Is the Honeywell MPD31D resistant to shocks and dust?
It carries an IP54 rating and is rated for 1.5-metre drops. IP54 means protected against dust and splashing water: enough to work on a loading dock, in a warehouse or outdoors in overcast weather.
What battery life does the Honeywell MPD31D portable printer offer?
Its 2,100 mAh battery is rated for up to 300 metres of printed media per charge. This is the right unit for a mobile printer: a number of hours tells you nothing, the printed length does.
What receipt widths does the Honeywell MPD31D print?
Rolls from 58 to 80 mm wide, for an effective print width of 72 mm. Two different values: the 80 mm refers to the paper, the 72 mm to the area actually printed — and that is what counts for the layout.
Can you print from a phone with the Honeywell MPD31D?
Yes, via Bluetooth 4.0, and it is stated to be compatible with Android, iOS and Windows. A micro-USB port complements the wireless link, notably for updates or configuration from a computer.
Which barcodes does the Honeywell MPD31D print?
Standard 1D barcodes and 2D codes: QR Code, DataMatrix and PDF417, at a resolution of 203 dpi and up to 90 mm/s. PDF417 is the format used for transport documents and official credentials.
How are receipts cut on the Honeywell MPD31D?
With a tear bar: the receipt is torn off by hand against the edge of the machine. There is no motorised cutter — a logical choice for a belt-worn printer, where every mechanism is a potential point of failure.
Does the Honeywell MPD31D work with existing software?
Yes, it supports CPCL, TSPL, ZPL and ESC/POS. These four languages cover most of the installed base: it can therefore replace an existing mobile printer without rewriting the receipt templates or the business application.
Is the Honeywell MPD31D portable printer new and under warranty?
New, reference MPD31D111, in original Honeywell packaging, weighing 368 grams — the weight that makes it portable on a belt. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year.
