Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the AOC Q27G11E's 180 Hz work over HDMI?
No: over HDMI 2.0, the monitor tops out at 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz. 180 Hz is achieved via DisplayPort 1.4: your choice of cable therefore directly affects the refresh rate you get.
What do you gain by moving to QHD on a 27-inch monitor?
The 2560 x 1440 resolution gives a pixel pitch of 0.2331 mm, versus about 0.31 mm in Full HD on the same diagonal: text and textures look much sharper, without having to enlarge the system display.
What do the Q27G11E's two response times mean?
0.5 ms MPRT, which measures the blur perceived in a moving image, and 1 ms grey-to-grey, which times how quickly a pixel switches. Both values are accurate; the second is the more demanding measurement.
What is the Dial Point crosshair on this AOC monitor for?
It displays a customisable crosshair in the centre of the screen, whatever the game — useful in titles that do not provide one. The Low Input Lag mode, for its part, reduces the delay between a mouse action and its appearance on screen.
Is the AOC Q27G11E stand height-adjustable?
