Which cable is supplied, and what do you need to connect a console?
The box contains a 1.8 m DisplayPort cable, the power cable, four screws, the setup guide and the warranty booklet. The two HDMI 2.1 ports are ready for a console or a second PC, but no HDMI cable is included: buy one separately. The monitor is also listed as compatible with the Legion Go console.
Does the Legion 27Q-11 have speakers, a microphone or a webcam?
No, none of the three: no speakers, no microphone and no built-in camera — it is a pure monitor. A 3.5 mm audio jack output is provided at the back for connecting headphones or active speakers, and a Kensington lock slot lets you secure the monitor at a shared workstation.
Does it prevent screen tearing with an NVIDIA card as well as with an AMD card?
Yes, in both cases. The monitor is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive Sync: the panel's refresh rate locks to the game's frame rate, eliminating screen tearing. FreeSync does, however, require an AMD Radeon series card.
Is the 0.5 ms response time adjustable?
Yes: the value depends on the level selected — 4 ms at level 1, 3 ms at level 2, 2 ms at level 3, 1 ms at level 4, and 0.5 ms MPRT at the maximum. You adjust the setting to suit each game instead of being stuck with a single value.
Is the stand height-adjustable, and does the monitor pivot to portrait?
Yes to both. The stand offers 135 mm of height adjustment, tilt from −5° to +22°, ±30° swivel and a 90° portrait pivot. Enough to set it at eye level for long sessions, or turn the panel upright for code, chat or a streaming chat feed.
Can the Legion 27Q-11 be mounted on an arm or a wall?
Yes, the VESA 100 × 100 mm standard is supported. With the stand removed, the panel alone weighs 3.5 kg and is 49 mm thick, compared with 5.6 kg with the original stand: two figures to check against the load capacity of your desk arm or wall mount before ordering.
Is the panel matte, and can it handle long gaming sessions?
It is anti-glare (matte), IPS with 178°/178° viewing angles. To combat eye strain, the monitor is Eyesafe 2.0 and TÜV Low Blue Light certified through a hardware solution, with Natural Low Blue Light mode on top.
Can it be used for photo or video editing, or is it just for gaming?
It covers 99% of sRGB and 95% of DCI-P3 and supports HDR10: enough for everyday photo retouching and video editing. To be honest about its limits, brightness peaks at 300 cd/m² and contrast at 1000:1 — figures of an all-round monitor, not a professional colour-grading station.
How much power does it use, and is there an external power brick?
23 W in typical use, 37 W maximum, with a built-in power supply rated 100–240 V: a simple power cable is all you need, with no power brick to hide behind the desk. It is RoHS compliant and rated class E on the European energy label.
Is there software to adjust the monitor, and does it work on a Mac?
Yes: Legion Space and Lenovo Artery (formerly Display Control Center) control display settings, audio and gaming support features. Artery runs on Windows 10 and 11, macOS and Windows on Arm, with the available features varying from one system to another.
Are the bezels thin enough to line up two monitors side by side?
Yes. The side bezel measures just 1.1 mm and the design is NearEdgeless on three sides: two panels placed side by side leave only a minimal gap in the centre of your field of view. Allow 613.7 mm of width per monitor, and 214 mm of depth with the stand, when sizing your desk.
Is the Legion 27Q-11 monitor new, and how long is the warranty?
Yes: new and sealed in its original packaging, with its invoice and the warranty booklet supplied in the box. The warranty is 2 years. Full specifications are in the Lenovo datasheet (PDF).
