Does the AOC Q27G42ZE really reach 260 Hz?
Its native refresh rate is 240 Hz; 260 Hz is reached by overclocking, to be enabled from the monitor's menu. The response time is given as 1 ms grey-to-grey and 0.3 ms MPRT.
What do you gain by moving to QHD on this 27-inch gaming monitor?
2560 x 1440 resolution displays nearly twice as many pixels as Full HD on the same diagonal: game textures and interfaces are much sharper, without having to enlarge the system's display scaling.
Is the Q27G42ZE compatible with G-Sync?
Yes, it is rated NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible and supports variable refresh rate. The monitor's refresh rate then follows the graphics card's frame rate, which eliminates screen tearing.
What video inputs does the AOC Q27G42ZE offer?
One HDMI 2.0 input and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. From a laptop whose only video output is USB-C, you will need an adapter to one of these two formats, provided that port supports video.
Is the AOC Q27G42ZE's stand height-adjustable?
No: only the tilt is adjustable, from -3° to +21°. VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting remains possible for a monitor arm, which lets you adjust the position freely.
How much power does the AOC Q27G42ZE consume?
