Are the AOC Q27G40E's colours factory-calibrated?
Yes: the monitor is stated as calibrated to a Delta E below 2, and covers 102% of the DCI-P3 colour space. Accuracy that is rare on a gaming monitor, and makes it usable for photo editing.
Is the Q27G40E G-Sync compatible?
Yes, it is rated NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible: the monitor's refresh rate, which goes up to 180 Hz, follows the frame rate produced by the graphics card, which eliminates screen tearing in fast action.
What do you gain by moving to QHD on this 27-inch monitor?
The 2560 x 1440 resolution gives a 0.2331 mm pixel pitch, compared with about 0.31 mm in Full HD on the same diagonal: text and textures are much finer, with no system scaling needed.
What video inputs does the AOC Q27G40E offer?
One HDMI 2.0 input and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. From a laptop whose only video output is USB-C, you will need an adapter to one of these two formats, provided that port supports video.
What do the Q27G40E's two response times mean?
0.5 ms MPRT, which measures the blur perceived on a moving image, and 1 ms grey-to-grey, which times a pixel's transition. Both figures are accurate; the second is the more demanding measurement.
Is the AOC Q27G40E stand height-adjustable?
