This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

The Dell PowerEdge R760xs rack server is a versatile 2U platform designed for virtualisation, databases and enterprise application workloads. This configuration features an Intel Xeon Silver 4410Y processor (12 cores / 24 threads, 4th generation “Sapphire Rapids”), 32 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 480 GB SSD, all expandable to two processors, 16 DDR5 DIMMs and numerous drive bays.

Service continuity relies on two redundant hot-plug power supplies, a Dell PERC H755 hardware RAID controller and a Broadcom 5720 four-port Gigabit network card. Full remote management is provided by iDRAC9 Enterprise, to monitor, deploy and control the server at any time.

Up to 12 × 3.5-inch drives, or 16 × 2.5-inch drives plus 8 NVMe, depending on the chassis configuration. It comes with one 480 GB SSD and a Dell PERC H755 hardware RAID controller.
Can a second processor be added to this server?
Yes: one Intel Xeon Silver 4410Y is installed — 12 cores, 24 threads, fourth-generation Sapphire Rapids — and the chassis supports up to two processors.
How far can the memory of this R760xs be expanded?
It comes with 32 GB of DDR5 ECC and has 16 DDR5 slots. That leaves plenty of room for expansion, and ECC memory corrects errors on its own.
What does this server boot its operating system from?
From a BOSS-N1 module with two hot-plug M.2 NVMe SSDs. The operating system is thus kept separate from the data drives, and the module can be replaced without shutting the machine down.
Which expansion options does this server accept?
Up to 6 PCIe slots, an OCP 3.0 slot and a dedicated PERC slot — so the RAID controller does not take up a usable PCIe slot.
Does this server stay up if a power supply fails?
Yes: two redundant hot-swappable power supplies ensure service continuity. The faulty unit can be replaced while the machine is running.
