The Electro-Voice ZX1-90 is an 8-inch two-way passive speaker designed for both fixed and mobile sound reinforcement. It handles 200 W continuous and reaches up to 123 dB, over a frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Its rotatable horn provides 90° × 50° coverage, which can be reoriented to 50° × 90° to suit the geometry of the venue. The 8-inch EV8L low-frequency driver and one-inch DH2005 compression driver deliver clear reproduction of both speech and music. The high-impact polymer enclosure and powder-coated galvanised steel grille resist moisture, and the integrated pole-mount socket makes temporary installations easy.
