This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

The Bosch LC1-UM06E8 is a 6 W ceiling speaker for announcements and background music on 100 V or 70 V lines. Its four power taps — 6, 3, 1.5 and 0.75 W — let you match the level of each speaker to the installation's settings. It delivers 97 dB at rated power and covers 70 Hz to 20 kHz, with a 180° opening angle. Its steel chassis and grille, in RAL 9010 white, fit standard suspended ceilings with a 220 mm diameter. It meets the EN 54-24 standard for voice alarm systems.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the Bosch LC1-UM06E8 be connected to a hi-fi amplifier?
No: it works on a 100 V or 70 V line, the principle used in public address installations. Several speakers are then connected in parallel on the same cable from a line amplifier, which allows long distances without loss.
What are the four power taps on the LC1-UM06E8 for?
To set the level at each speaker point: 6, 3, 1.5 or 0.75 W. You lower the tap on a speaker placed in a narrow corridor and raise it on one in a lobby, to get an even level across the whole installation without touching the amplifier.
Does this speaker meet the requirements for safety sound systems?
Yes, it complies with the EN 54-24 standard, which applies to loudspeakers in voice alarm and evacuation systems. That is what an inspection body will check on a life-safety installation.
What cut-out is needed in the ceiling for the LC1-UM06E8?
