Is this matte black ink water-resistant?
Yes: it is a pigment-based ink, rated water- and fade-resistant. That is what lets you put up a plan or a poster without seeing it fade.
How much ink does this HP 727 cartridge contain?
300 ml — more than double the colour cartridges of the same family, which hold 130 ml. Matte black is the most heavily used ink on a plan plotter.
What is the difference between matte black and photo black?
Here, matte black is a pigment-based ink, designed for matte papers and technical line drawings; photo black, in the same range, is a dye-based ink intended for glossy papers.
What printing technology does this cartridge use?
HP Thermal Inkjet printing. The head heats the ink to eject the droplet, and on DesignJet printers it is separate from the cartridge.
Is this HP 727 matte black cartridge genuine and under warranty?
