The AT8700 is an articulated microphone arm that clamps to the edge of a table. It takes a microphone or its shock mount on a 5/8"-27 thread, swivels through 360° and frees up the work surface, to record, stream or host a podcast.

The arm holds up to 1 kg: a studio microphone such as the AT2035, 403 g, or a USB microphone such as the AT2020USB-XP, about 375 g, stay within that. Its boom reaches 432 mm for a height of 425 mm, and it turns through 360° to come from either side of the desk.
A clamp, some clips, and it's tidy
The table clamp tightens on a desktop up to 50 mm thick. Clips for USB and XLR cables guide the microphone cable along the arm, so that it does not hang in front of the screen or keyboard.
The microphone, its shock mount and the cable are not supplied. The arm screws onto any microphone or shock mount with a 5/8"-27 thread.
