The Mixfader is a real DJ crossfader, in a 91 mm aluminium casing, that talks wirelessly to the Mixfader dj app on smartphone, tablet or computer. Placed on a table or on a turntable, it replaces the on-screen slider to mix and scratch at your fingertips.

A real fader, without a cable
The Mixfader connects over Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy to the Mixfader dj app, on iOS and Android, as well as to DJ apps that integrate its development kit. On iOS, it also sends MIDI to compatible music apps. A single button switches it on; pairing is then done from the app.

The casing is a one-piece aluminium block, assembled in France, whose non-slip rubber underside stops it sliding on a turntable or a table. The four adhesive pads in the box are used to hold the smartphone or tablet in place while you play.
With real turntables
The Mixfader can also control a DVS system. A USB turntable connects directly to the device running the app, with a USB On-The-Go cable; an analogue turntable goes through a sound card, on its phono inputs. The sound then comes out of the device to the speakers, through a jack cable.

The lithium-ion battery is built in and charges through the supplied USB cable, on a computer or a mains adapter. The Mixfader remains usable while charging, which avoids cutting a set short.
