Frequently asked questions about this product

Will my 15.6-inch laptop really fit in the Zurich Toploading?
The laptop compartment measures 39 × 26.5 × 3.5 cm: that is the only check that matters, so measure your machine before ordering. Also watch the reference: 110301 is the 14/15.6-inch version, while 110300 covers 13/14-inch laptops.
What difference does the “toploading” design make in everyday use?
The computer goes in and comes out through the top of the bag, not through a front flap: you take it out in one movement, with the bag set down, without opening it fully. The main compartment remains reserved for the laptop and documents.
Is there a dedicated tablet compartment?
No, this bag has no tablet compartment. It provides a padded compartment for the computer and a space for documents: a tablet will have to share space with them or go in the front pocket.
Where do you put the charger, the mouse and the cables?
In the large zipped front pocket with organiser, complemented by 2 side pockets for accessories and a cable pocket with an elastic retaining strap. The charger, mouse and cables each have their own place.
Is the computer properly protected in this bag?
The bag has a fully padded construction and the laptop compartment itself is cushioned, to protect the computer during everyday travel. This full padding also accounts for part of its empty weight.
Is the shoulder strap included, and can it be removed?
Yes, a padded, adjustable and removable shoulder strap is included. Remove it to carry the bag by the handle, or keep it to leave both hands free.
Can it be attached to a wheeled suitcase when travelling?
Yes: a trolley strap is provided on the back of the bag, nothing to add. Slide it over your suitcase's telescopic handle and push everything with one hand, without carrying the weight of the computer.
What is the Zurich made of, and how much does it weigh empty?
Synthetic leather exterior, 150D polyester lining, with metal buckles, logo and zips chosen for durability. It weighs 810 g empty: less than a kilo added to your laptop.
Is the bag new and under warranty?
Yes: a new Port Designs Zurich Toploading, reference 110301, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the 1-year warranty document. Dimensions, materials and storage are detailed in the product sheet (PDF).
