1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers does the HP 963 magenta cartridge work with?
It is listed as compatible with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 and OfficeJet Pro 9020 all-in-one ranges. The safest check before ordering: note the code of the cartridge you are removing, here 3JA24AE. Genuine HP cartridges are specially designed to work with your HP printer.
Should I take the 963 magenta or the 963XL magenta?
It is a question of volume: 700 pages for the 963 magenta, 1,600 pages for the 963XL magenta (3JA28AE), in the same footprint (114 × 25 × 126 mm). The XL lets you print about twice as many pages before replacement. The same gap applies to black: 1,000 pages for the 963, 2,000 pages for the 963XL.
How is the 700-page yield calculated?
According to the ISO/IEC 24711 standard or an HP test methodology, in continuous printing on an HP OfficeJet Pro 9020: it is an average composite yield for cyan/magenta/yellow, for 10.77 ml of ink. The actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the printed pages.
Are the other colours included in the box?
No: 3JA24AE is the magenta cartridge alone. Cyan (3JA23AE) and yellow (3JA25AE) also last 700 pages, while black (3JA26AE) goes up to 1,000 pages; each is ordered separately. The three colours measure 114 × 25 × 126 mm; the black one is wider (119 × 36 × 126 mm).
Will magenta prints fade over time?
They are made to last: the HP 963 uses pigment inks, which give long-lasting, fade-resistant colours. This point is based on HP internal testing and on the Wilhelm Imaging Research statement on dark storage. Your business documents keep vivid colours and sharp black text.
Can the empty magenta cartridge be recycled?
Yes, free of charge, through the HP Planet Partners programme, whose availability varies by country: the cartridge is taken back to be recycled rather than thrown away. Genuine HP supplies are also designed to conserve resources and paper when printing.
Is this HP 963 magenta cartridge genuine and under warranty?
Yes: an authentic HP cartridge (3JA24AE), new, supplied with its invoice, which serves as a 1-year warranty — HP warrants its cartridges against any defect in materials and workmanship. See the HP datasheet (PDF) for details.
