1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Why does this scanner have both a flatbed glass and an automatic document feeder?
Because the two do different jobs: the glass takes bound or fragile documents that cannot be fed through a roller, while the 50-sheet feeder takes care of stacks of loose sheets. A bound document goes on the glass; the day's mail goes into the feeder.
Is duplex scanning automatic, or do you have to put the stack through again the other way round?
Automatic, and in a single pass from the feeder: no turning the stack over, no second scan to start.
Can the DR-F120 be connected to the network to share it between several computers?
No: it has no Ethernet port. It connects via USB 2.0 to a computer, which controls the scans and receives the files. Sharing therefore goes through that computer: plan where the scanner will sit accordingly.
Can you scan at 1,200 dpi from the automatic document feeder?
No. The feeder works at 600 dpi; the 1,200 dpi is only available on the glass. For an original that needs fine reproduction, place it on the glass rather than feeding it into the tray.
Which sizes go through the feeder, from a small receipt to an A4 sheet?
The feeder accepts originals from 51 × 89 mm to 216 × 356 mm: a small receipt goes through as easily as an A4 sheet. The tray is calibrated for 80 g/m² paper, the standard weight of office paper.
What speed can you expect in colour compared with black and white?
20 pages/min in black and white versus 10 pages/min in colour (A4, 200 dpi): colour halves the speed. In duplex, that gives 36 and 18 images per minute.
Can the DR-F120 handle the workload of an office that scans a lot every day?
Yes: the expected usage volume is about 1,000 scans per day. With a 50-sheet tray, you load a full stack in one go and only step in between batches.
Is the Canon imageFORMULA DR-F120 scanner new and under warranty?
Yes: a new, genuine Canon unit, reference 9017B003AD. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year: keep it, it is the document requested for any service call.
