This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the HP ScanJet Pro 2600 f1 scanner have both a flatbed glass and a document feeder?
Yes, both. The flatbed glass handles bound documents, books and ID cards, and the 60-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) takes care of stacks of pages.
Does the ScanJet Pro 2600 f1 scan double-sided automatically?
Yes, the feeder scans both sides in a single pass (front and back at once), at up to 25 pages/min, or 50 images/min, at 300 dpi.
Can very long documents be scanned?
Yes, through the feeder, up to 216 × 3,100 mm (about 3 metres long). The glass remains limited to A4 size (216 × 297 mm).
Does the ScanJet Pro 2600 f1 connect over a network or Wi-Fi?
No: it connects via USB 2.0 only. It has neither Ethernet nor Wi-Fi; it plugs straight into a computer.
How does the scanner avoid skipping pages that stick together?
It has ultrasonic double-feed detection (HP EveryPage), which spots sheets pulled through together so that nothing in a stack is missed.
Can you get editable text files or searchable PDFs?
Yes, thanks to the OCR in the HP Scan software: it produces searchable PDFs, PDF/A, as well as Word, Excel, TXT, RTF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc.
Is the cable included, and does it need mains power?
Yes, the box contains the USB cable and an AC adapter with power cord; unlike a USB-powered scanner, this one plugs into a wall socket.
Which paper sizes and weights can go through the 2600 f1's feeder?
The feeder takes Letter, Legal, A4, A5, A6 and B5 sizes, in paper weights from 60 to 105 g/m². Envelopes, labels and cards can also be scanned on the glass.
Do you have to wait for it to warm up before scanning?
No, Instant-on technology lets you start scanning quickly, with no warm-up time.
