Frequently asked questions about this product
Is this ADATA memory module suitable for a desktop PC?
No: it is a short SO-DIMM format, the kind that fits under a laptop's memory access panel. A tower expects a long module, with a different connector.
Does this DDR4 module fit a DDR5 slot?
No: the key notches of the two generations are not in the same place. Check which generation your laptop accepts before ordering.
Does this 32 GB memory module reduce the laptop's battery life?
Quite the opposite: ADATA states lower power consumption than DDR3, which reduces heat and extends battery life. The module runs at 1.2 V, the standard DDR4 voltage.
Is this product a kit of two modules?
No: it is a single 32 GB module, not a kit. On a laptop with two slots, the second remains free; on a laptop with only one, it replaces the original module.
Which processors is this ADATA memory module optimised for?
For recent Intel and AMD processors, for which the Premier DDR4 range is explicitly optimised. It is presented as an instant upgrade for any compatible laptop.
Within what temperature range does this memory module operate?
From 0 to 85 °C. This range easily covers the inside of a laptop, including during a long computation or a gaming session.
Is this ADATA 32 GB DDR4 memory module new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new ADATA product, reference AD4S320032G, clocked at 3,200 MHz. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.

16 GB DDR5 module with a 33.8 mm low-profile heatsink, designed for compact cases and large CPU coolers. 6000 MT/s at CL48 via Intel XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO, built-in PMIC and on-die ECC, no lighting.
Registered in the RDIMM format: it only works in a server designed for that type of memory. Qualified by HPE on its platforms, with error detection that avoids needless replacements.
Works with recent AMD and Intel platforms. Power management built into the module (PMIC) at 1.1 V and on-die error correction, with around 8% lower consumption than DDR4.
Designed for HPE ProLiant Gen9, Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers, as well as for the Apollo, Synergy and Blade ranges. Stated target: cloud computing, virtualisation and databases.
Intended for mainstream HPE Compute platforms, this server memory is tested and authenticated by HPE before shipping. CAS latency 22-22-22, 1.2 V voltage and unbuffered operation.
Compliant with JEDEC standards, it installs with no tuning and runs at 1.2 V to limit heat inside the case. Bandwidth of 25,600 MB/s and compatibility validated on the common Intel and AMD platforms.
