This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the print head of the Epson EcoTank L8050 permanent or does it need replacing?
It is permanent: the L8050 uses a durable, built-in Epson Micro Piezo head. You never buy a replacement head or cartridge, only ink bottles to pour into the tanks.
Can the Epson L8050 also scan and copy?
No, it is a single-function printer (print only), specialised in photos. It does not scan or copy; if you need these functions, you should look at a multifunction model.
Can the L8050 really print on PVC cards?
Yes. It prints on plastic (PVC) cards, which is ideal for badges or personalised cards. It also handles CD/DVD printing and borderless photo printing.
How many photos can you print with the included ink?
The included ink (6 bottles of 70 ml) prints up to 1,500 colour photos in 10x15 cm format and around 5,400 colour pages (or 2,600 pages / 4,100 photos in monochrome). These yields are estimates based on Epson's method.
Why does the Epson L8050 use 6 ink colours?
On top of the 4 standard colours, it adds light cyan and light magenta. These dye-based inks produce subtle gradations, natural skin tones and deep blacks, for near-professional photo quality.
Does the Epson L8050 printer have an Ethernet port?
No, it connects only via Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct (no Ethernet port or network cable). You print wirelessly from a PC, smartphone or tablet via the Epson Smart Panel app.
Does the Epson L8050 offer automatic duplex printing?
No, duplex printing is done manually: you turn the stack of sheets over yourself. It does not have a control screen either.
How much electricity does the L8050 use, and is it noisy?
Its consumption is moderate: around 19 W when printing, 0.6 W in sleep mode and 0.11 kWh per week. The noise level in photo mode is around 37 dB(A), which means quiet operation.
What paper sizes and types does the Epson L8050 accept?
It prints up to A4 size, and also handles A5, A6, B5, Letter, envelopes (C6, DL, No. 10), photo paper and plastic cards. The tray holds 100 sheets of plain paper or 20 sheets of photo paper.
Is the L8050 easy to maintain when it runs out of ink?
Yes. The maintenance box is replaceable and the feed roller is easy to access, which limits downtime. Refilling is done with keyed bottles, so there is no risk of pouring the wrong colour.
Is the Epson EcoTank L8050 new and under warranty?
Yes, it is new, genuine and sealed, supplied with its 6 ink bottles, the power cable and the documentation. The invoice serves as the 1-year warranty document.
