1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the TUF VG249Q1R's 165 Hz work over HDMI?
No: on the HDMI input, the vertical range stops at 144 Hz. 165 Hz is reached over DisplayPort, whose range covers 48 to 165 Hz. The cable you choose therefore determines the refresh rate actually reached.
Does the VG249Q1R have built-in speakers?
Yes, speakers are built into the chassis: enough to follow a video or a game without adding external speakers. The monitor does not, however, have a USB hub.
What does this monitor's Extreme Low Motion Blur technology bring?
It reduces the perceived ghosting behind moving objects by controlling the backlight between two frames, which delivers the quoted 1 ms MPRT response time. It is enabled from the monitor's menu.
Can the VG249Q1R be mounted on a monitor arm?
Yes, but with a VESA 75 x 75 mm pattern, more compact than the usual 100 x 100 mm: check this on your arm or wall mount before buying. The monitor weighs only 3 kg with its stand, 2.5 kg without.
How good is the VG249Q1R's IPS panel for mixed use?
It delivers 250 cd/m² with 178° viewing angles on both axes, on a 23.8-inch viewable diagonal in Full HD. Colours stay stable when viewed from the side, which suits work as well as gaming with two people in front of the screen.
Is the VG249Q1R compatible with AMD FreeSync?
Yes: AMD FreeSync synchronises the monitor's refresh rate with the frame rate of the graphics card, which eliminates screen tearing in fast-paced scenes. It is the synchronisation technology chosen for this model.
Is the VG249Q1R's stand adjustable?
It tilts from -5° to +22°. To go further — height, portrait mode — you need a monitor arm with a VESA 75 x 75 mm pattern; at 2.5 kg without its stand, the panel remains easy to carry.
