Intended for the most recent AMD and Intel platforms. On-die error correction also takes work off the processor along the way, and power is steadied by an integrated circuit.
288-pin U-DIMM format, for desktop PCs
DDR5 generation: a DDR4 slot will not take it
Recent AMD and Intel platforms
CAS latency 46-45-45
On-die error correction, which also relieves the processor
Optimise your desktop PC's performance with the ADATA U-DIMM DDR5-5600 MHz 16 GB memory module. It offers peak speeds of up to 5600 MHz, efficient power management through its integrated power management IC, and double the capacity of the previous generation. With built-in error correction code, it delivers greater stability for a smooth computing experience. Compatible with the latest AMD and Intel platforms, this memory module is an ideal choice for demanding users looking for outstanding performance.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Can this DDR5 memory module be installed in a laptop?
No. It is a 288-pin U-DIMM module, designed for desktop PC and tower motherboards. It works with the latest AMD and Intel platforms.
Can I install it alongside my existing DDR4 modules?
No. It is DDR5: it requires a DDR5 motherboard, as the key notch is not in the same place as on DDR4. You can also recognise it by its PMIC visible in the centre of the module.
Is it a single module or a pack of two?
A single module of 16 GB, reference AD5U560016G-S (EAN 4711085939234): it is not a kit of two modules.
Up to what capacity can I go later with this same series?
ADATA's DDR5-5600 U-DIMM series comes in 8, 16, 24, 32 and 48 GB per module, all 288-pin and at 5,600 MHz. You can therefore add to it or replace it later with a higher capacity without changing range; the maximum then depends on your motherboard.
What is the built-in error-correcting code on this memory module for?
It automatically corrects errors in real time, right inside the chip (on-die ECC). The result: fewer checking calculations left to the processor and stronger stability, right up to enterprise-grade workstations.
Does it use less power than the DDR4 module it replaces?
Yes. It runs at 1.1 V, which means 8% lower power consumption than a DDR4 module, and has a built-in power management IC (PMIC) that improves power stability.
What real gain does it bring over a DDR4 module at 3,200 MHz?
The frequency rises to 5,600 MHz versus a maximum of 3,200 MHz for DDR4. The DDR5 architecture also doubles the number of bank groups as well as the Burst Length and Prefetch: more data is fetched in advance. The CAS latency is 46-45-45.
Can it cope with a poorly ventilated case or a hot room?
Its operating temperature range extends from 0 to 85 °C, at a DRAM voltage of 1.1 V. Its input power supply is 5 V.
Is the memory module new, and what warranty applies?
Yes, it is new and supplied with its invoice, which serves as the 1-year warranty document. Full specifications — pins, 46-45-45 latencies, voltages, temperature range — are in the ADATA datasheet (PDF).
Registered in the RDIMM format: it only works in a server designed for that type of memory. Qualified by HPE on its platforms, with error detection that avoids needless replacements.
•Registered RDIMM format: servers only, never a desktop PC
•DDR4 generation, not compatible with a DDR5 slot
•Tested and qualified by HPE on all its server platforms
Works with recent AMD and Intel platforms. Power management built into the module (PMIC) at 1.1 V and on-die error correction, with around 8% lower consumption than DDR4.
Laptops and mini PCs: the 262-pin SO-DIMM format does not fit a tower. CAS latency 46-45-45-90, 1.1 V voltage and JESD79-5A compliance, on Intel and AMD platforms alike.
Boost your desktop PC's performance with the Silicon Power U-DIMM 16GB DDR5-5600 MHz CL46 memory module. Designed for the latest-generation processors, it delivers a speed of 5600MT/s for exceptional responsiveness and smooth multitasking. Its low 1.1V voltage optimises power consumption, while On-D
Intended for a laptop or a mini PC: the 262-pin SO-DIMM format does not fit a tower. DRAM chips selected for stability, and installation with no configuration needed.
Designed for HPE ProLiant Gen9, Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers, as well as for the Apollo, Synergy and Blade ranges. Stated target: cloud computing, virtualisation and databases.
Intended for mainstream HPE Compute platforms, this server memory is tested and authenticated by HPE before shipping. CAS latency 22-22-22, 1.2 V voltage and unbuffered operation.
Compliant with JEDEC standards, it installs with no tuning and runs at 1.2 V to limit heat inside the case. Bandwidth of 25,600 MB/s and compatibility validated on the common Intel and AMD platforms.
The connector notch sits differently from that of DDR4: the module only fits a DDR5 motherboard. PMIC visible in the centre, 1.1 V supply and on-die error correction.
•Fits a 288-pin DIMM slot in a desktop PC
•Offset notch: cannot be fitted on a DDR4 motherboard
