This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Will this Canon RF lens fit my EOS DSLR?
No: it has an RF mount, the mount used by EOS R mirrorless cameras. An EOS DSLR with an EF mount cannot take it: the distance between the mount and the sensor is not the same.
Is this lens suitable for an APS-C body?
It is designed for 24 × 36 full frame. Mounted on an APS-C body with an RF mount, it works, but the framing gets tighter: the field of view is no longer that of a 135 mm.
What does this lens's f/1.8 aperture make possible?
Superb subject separation (the background melts away behind the face) and low-light shooting. That is what a portrait or event photographer is looking for.
Is this lens stabilised?
Yes: a 5.5-stop optical image stabiliser. In practice, it allows much slower shutter speeds handheld without camera-shake blur appearing.
Is the lens hood supplied with this Canon lens?
Yes: the ET-88B lens hood is in the box, along with the LP1319 case, the E-82II front cap and the RF dust cap. Nothing extra to buy.
Is this lens's autofocus quiet?
Yes: it uses a Nano USM motor, billed as delivering smooth, quiet focusing. That is what makes it usable for video without the microphone picking up the motor.
Can the controls on this lens be customised?
Yes: it has customisable function buttons and a control ring, to which you can assign aperture, ISO sensitivity or exposure compensation.
Is this Canon RF 135mm F1.8 L lens new and under warranty?
