This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Will this Nikon Z lens fit my DSLR?
No: it has a Z mount, the mount used by Nikon mirrorless cameras. A DSLR with an F mount cannot take it without a mount adapter.
Does the lens extend when you zoom?
No: it is an internal zoom, with no extension of the barrel. The length does not change, which preserves balance on a gimbal and avoids drawing in dust.
Is the autofocus on this Nikkor fast?
Yes: the Silky Swift VCM motor is billed as five times faster than that of the previous generation. That is what also makes it suited to video.
Is this Nikon zoom heavy to carry?
It is 16% lighter than the previous generation. On a 24-70 f/2.8 that stays on the camera body, you feel the weight saving after a few hours.
Is this lens weather-resistant?
Yes: its weather resistance is improved over the previous model. Enough to work outdoors without added protection.
Is this lens stabilised?
No: it has no optical stabilisation. On a Nikon Z body with sensor stabilisation, the camera compensates; otherwise, you will need to keep an eye on your shutter speed.
Is this Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II lens new and under warranty?
