1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the EncorePro 520 plug directly into a USB port?
No. This version is the QD (Quick Disconnect) model: it connects to the computer through any Poly QD adapter, to be bought along with the headset. It is this adapter that determines compatibility with your workstation.
What is the difference between the QD and USB versions of the EncorePro 500?
The USB-A and USB-C connectors built into the cable and remote firmware updates belong to the USB models in the series. The QD version, this one, focuses on backward compatibility: it fits existing installations through a Poly QD adapter.
Can the headset's buttons be pressed by mistake?
That is exactly what the recessed buttons prevent: set back into the housing, they do not activate accidentally when you handle the headset or put it down. They control answering calls and putting them on hold.
Can you pause audio and video in a single action?
Yes. A single button puts audio and video on hold simultaneously: complete privacy at a single press, without having to mute the microphone on one side and the camera on the other.
How do you know whether the mic boom is correctly positioned?
The boom has positioning marks: simply set it at the mark to get the right distance from your mouth. Flexible and rotating through 290°, the 135 mm boom can be worn on the left or the right.
What does the EncorePro 520's microphone pick up around me?
It is noise-cancelling: it reduces background noise and interference so that the caller hears every word. Its frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 16 kHz, with a stated signal-to-noise ratio of more than 50 dB.
Does the headset protect your ears from acoustic shocks?
Yes, SoundGuard technology limits sounds to below 118 dBA and keeps the volume at a suitable level across all equipped workstations. This protection applies to a whole team, not just to one agent.
How much does the binaural EncorePro 520 weigh on the head?
74 g for two on-ear ear cups with foam cushions, on a 78.5 cm cord up to the QD connector. A weight designed for workstations where the headset stays on all day.
Which systems does the EncorePro 520 work with?
Windows 11, Windows 10 and macOS, and it is certified for Skype for Business. The box contains the headset only: the Poly QD adapter that will connect it to your workstation must be bought separately.
