What is the difference between the APC ER8222 and ER6222 racks?
The width: 800 mm for the ER8222 versus 600 mm for the ER6222, with identical depth and height — 1,200 x 1,991 mm. The extra 20 cm is used for routing cables vertically along the sides.
Can the APC ER8222 rack be locked?
Yes: it is fitted with key locks on the doors and panels. In a shared room or a technical corridor, that is what prevents a server from being unplugged by accident — or on purpose.
